During the Mass Casualty Conference, DHS S&T will conduct a live demonstration of several of the Emergency Data Exchange Language (EDXL) standards that highlight information sharing and interoperability between different systems and vendor solutions. Standards being demonstrated will include the EDXL Tracking Emergency Patients (EDXL-TEP), the EDXL Hospital Availability Exchange (EDXL-HAVE) and the EDXL Distribution Element (EDXL-DE). These standards are being deployed in major metropolitan areas that include Los Angeles and New York City.
