Jennifer Frenette serves as MRC Regional Coordinator (MRC RC) for Region I (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT). She provides technical assistance and support to the new and existing MRC units in the region. She is also actively working with state MRC coordinators and associated partner organizations to assist with the growth of the program. Ms. Frenette works closely with all involved and interested to advance the U.S. Surgeon General's public health priorities and coordinate with the goals of the Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps. She lives and works in the northernmost portion of New Hampshire.

Ms. Frenette’s passion for the helping professions, belief in who she is and in the goodness of others, and outstanding luck generated her interest and involvement in the Medical Reserve Corps. Like most people, her past drives her present and will enhance her future. She gains strength from the love of her family and friends and appreciates the world around her. She loves to be an active part of it, but her dire independence can get her into trouble at times. She stays busy to avoid boredom, which would be the bane of everyone else’s existence should it happen.

She has always had a passion for the core community values that have inspired her tireless work in Emergency Medical Services as a leader, educator, provider, and advocate. Starting as a city street provider immediately after receiving her bachelor’s of science in biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire, she quickly advanced clinically and professionally in EMS and Public Health. Experience as a State of NH EMS Training Coordinator, Hospital EMS Coordinator and Technician, Licensed EMS and Community Educator and rural EMS volunteer culminated in her current leadership positions with the New Hampshire Association of EMTs, the National Association of EMTs, and the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride, her most satisfying endeavor.

She is most proud of her daughters; they have taken her strengths to new and exciting levels and will do great things in their lives. She loves her Siamese cats. She is most thankful for the support of her husband and extended family; they are all nuts, but fabulous and very patient. She is blessed with presence and has the greatest friends on earth who share the best and the worst of their experiences freely.
